Three Generations of Craftsmanship
Miller's Wholesale Flooring was founded in 1970 in Englewood, Tennessee, and moved to its Madisonville home in 1989. What started as a small flooring operation has grown into one of the region's most trusted flooring companies, now in its third generation of family ownership.
Over 56 years, we've installed floors in thousands of homes and businesses across East Tennessee — from Knoxville to Chattanooga, from Maryville to Cleveland. We've seen every type of subfloor, every type of challenge, and every type of customer. That experience is what sets us apart.
We're not a big-box store. We don't have a call center or a corporate office. When you call Miller's, you talk to someone who knows flooring — someone who has been doing this their whole life. We take pride in every job we do, because our name is on it.
Our History
- 1970
John Miller quit his factory job and started a carpet business out of his garage.
- 1973
The business became official, trading as John Miller's Carpet Sales.
- 1989
John and his son Mitch opened a storefront in Madisonville, Tennessee and changed the name to Miller's Wholesale Carpet.
- 2019
The name changed to Miller's Wholesale Flooring, to better convey the full range of the family's expertise.
- Today
John, Mitch and his sons are the third generation of craftsmen in the family to learn the trade.
